Since the launch of our ESG Strategy Project Groups, we have seen great progress across all three pillars - Environmental, Social and Governance. 

“We formed these project groups on the back of in-depth strategy sessions with our sustainability consultancy, Tadpole. We identified that there was a lot of work to be done, as well as an opportunity to utilise the skills of managers across our business. We’re pleased to be developing the strategic thinking skills of members of our team, while also executing our ESG strategy”, says Paul Grant, In-House Sustainability Lead.

Key wins from our project groups so far include: 

• From our Environmental Group: The investigation of opportunities to proactively reduce our emissions
• From our Social Group: The development of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) policy, as well as an associated training programme
• From our Governance Group: The launch of projects relating to responsible sourcing which is a top priority for our customers, based on results from our Materiality Matrix.
