Frequently Asked Questions

1. Q Is there a standard freight charge per order?
A $17.00 per delivery - urgent courier available on request.

2. Q Is there a minimum order spend?
A Yes, $100.00 inc GST.
(Not applicable to cash sales)
3. Q Do your prices include GST?
A All online pricing shown excludes GST, but if you are shopping online, GST will be added when you process the order.
4. Q Is the stock available?
A Stock holding online is shown for stockholding nationwide. To check please call Customer Service on 09 622 4141 or contact your nearest branch.
5. Q What are your delivery timeframes?
A If you order before 9.30am on a weekday, the order will be delivered on the same day in metropolitan areas. If you order after 9.30am, your order will be delivered the following morning. Please note: Snell business hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Orders can be picked up from your nearest Snell branch if arranged with Customer Service.
6. Q Do you process cash sales?
A As Snell is primarily a whole saler processing larger orders for account holders, some conditions apply to cash sales.
  • Minimum order $200.00 exc GST.
  • Credit card payment only using Visa or Mastercard. No other credit cards can be accepted at present.
  • Cash sales are pick up only, no deliveries.
7. Q Do you offer a price list covering all the products in your catalogue and online?
A Snell customer accounts all have different pricing loaded based on each customer's needs and volumes. The pricing on the website is recommended retail.

If you're logged into the website then your account will reflect the pricing loaded to certain products that you regularly purchase. Otherwise, please request a quote whilst logged in and your account manager or Customer Service will send you a personalised quote and pricing.
8. Q Do you charge freight on backorders?
A If a product is out of stock, Snell will endeavour to deliver it to you in the shortest time possible. No freight will be charged on back orders. Most back orders are locally supplied with an average lead-time of 3-5 working days.
9. Q What happens when placing orders outside of standard business hours?
A After hours orders are processed the following day for same day delivery if possible, otherwise they will be delivered the following business day.
